The All‑Candidates debate for Nepean, a suburban‑rural riding, took place before the June 7, 2018 Ontario general election to elect members of the 42nd Parliament. In that election, Progressive Conservative leader Doug Ford won a majority government and became Premier, ending 15 years of Liberal rule. Locally, Lisa MacLeod (PC) was re‑elected in Nepean.

The Ottawa Health Coalition is hosting an Ottawa Area Candidates Debate on health care in Ontario. As a local chapter of the Ontario Health Coalition (OHC), the organization advocates for a strong, universal public healthcare system that ensures equitable, accessible, and high-quality care for all residents across every community and demographic group
